Anyone who knew my dad /john were one of the lucky ones , and would know that he was a quiet man who loved a bet on the horses loved a drink his favourite being guiness or John smiths. He lived for his business which everyone would know as starlight cleaning , he was with his partner Jackie for 24 years .

He unfortunately was diagnosed with bladder cancer late  2023 he had treatment for it but unfortunately it spread to his brain and he was diagnosed has having brain cancer.  He was a strong man, he continued to fight each day and was determined to fight this horrible disease . He remained positive right to the end and even contined working from his bed until days before his passing.  If you would like to donate to the brain tumour charity this would be much appreciated instead of fllowers.
